The City of Roseville installed 80 kilowatts (kW) of on-site solar power at its City Hall campus over the winter and the system will begin feeding clean energy to the electrical grid on Monday, April 22. In addition to reducing Roseville’s campus electrical costs, it is estimated that the solar installation will offset approximately 55 tons of greenhouse gas emissions annually. To mark the occasion of Roseville’s first to solar arrays going live, the city hosted a kickoff event for the public and media on 4/22 in the front lobby of City Hall.
