The New Brighton Police Department is casting a line into community relations with its annual “Cops & Bobbers” event. This fantastic program brings together local officers and Community Partners for Youth out for a day of fishing fun. By swapping patrol cars for fishing poles, the police department is creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere that fosters trust and understanding. It’s a perfect opportunity for kids to learn about fishing while building positive relationships with their local law enforcement.
