Meet Gary Bartig, a 70-year-old luthier and devoted enthusiast of music and sound. Operating Acoustic Electric Strings out of his New Brighton home, Gary repairs stringed instruments and custom-designs violins and ukuleles. He recently made headlines by stepping in to save a David Byrne show at the Orpheum Theater in Minneapolis, showcasing his dedication to the world of music.
