After a long year of cancellations due to the COVID-19 pandemic, schools were finally able to hold in-person graduation ceremonies.
The Mounds View Public Schools Area Learning Center held its ceremony for graduating seniors on June 3, 2021.
The Challenge:
Due to COVID-19 capacity for the graduation ceremony was limited. Mounds View Public Schools, however, wanted a way for families to still watch the graduation ceremony despite not being able to join in person.
Mounds View Public Schools was able to partner with NineNorth to produce a video of the graduation ceremony for families to enjoy from the comfort of their homes.
The Solution:
We sent our production team over to Bethel University to cover this graduation ceremony. They prepped by observing the location a few days in advance and preparing any and all equipment they might need.
Using two cameras equipped with graphics our team was able to produce a live stream of the graduation ceremony. The production team sat up on the balcony so they were not a distraction.
The Results:
Our video of the ALC Graduation ceremony reached more than 230 people on Facebook. The graduation was also broadcast live on Cable TV channels 15 and 859.
