Italian Restaurant With Years of Family History

On this episode of Gianna’s Out To Lunch, we stopped at Little Venetian in Little Canada. Gianna sat down to talk with the owners about the food, history and what people can expect when they visit.

Little Venetian has been open since 2002 when Joe Vitale and his younger brother bought the land that Little Venetian sits on. Joe has been officially working in the restaurant industry since 1963, but he tells us that his work within his family’s business started in 1958.

The atmosphere of the restaurant aims to keep people comfortable with a homey feel. The majority of their customers even know them by name.

“It’s very family-oriented,” Lisa Vitale said.

Lisa and Joe’s choice to serve Italian food keeps that same home-like feeling. The food is made fresh every day. Some of Joe and Lisa’s favorite dishes are the chicken parmesan, baked penne and lasagna.

Thanks to the loyal customers Little Venetian was able to stay afloat during the COVID-19 pandemic. The transition to takeout only at the beginning of the lockdown, fortunately, did well.

Little Venetian is open to welcome you in and make you feel at home. You can check their hours and address on the website.
