This blog post gives six different ways constituents could connect with their local candidates during election season amid a pandemic. We thought it was important to highlight staying involved and informed on your local politics by utilizing virtual tools.

Some of the ideas include social media, virtual meetings and e-newsletters. 

4. Northwestern student news continues to produce stories while social distancing

This blog post dives into the campus media group at Northwestern-St.Paul during the early months of the pandemic. We wanted to feature another local media group to see their perspective on this challenge.

We talked with an Executive Producer about how they adapted their work while following social distancing guidelines.

This blog post suggests 4 different ways to have a graduation ceremony during a pandemic. Typically, our team records and shares our local graduation ceremonies, so we wanted to find a way to help senior classes and their families last May.

Schools had to get creative during the graduation season to find ways to hold commencement while staying at a safe distance.

2. What is the Minnesota Met Council?

This blog explains what the Minnesota Met Council is and the work they do for the community. We wanted to highlight the Met Council because they work on a variety of policies that affect our community members.

We talked to a member of the council on our podcast about how the council adjusted their work and focus during the pandemic.

This blog recommends ten ways politicians and their teams can continue campaigning during the pandemic. We thought it was important to let our local politicians know that there were still loads of ways to get their voice and platform out there.

Some of the ideas include hosting a car parade, posting on social media and sending out direct mail.
