Ten-year-old Thorin and his Grandpa Roger have always shared a special bond, spending as much time together as possible. That bond took on a life-saving significance recently when Roger suffered a sudden stroke during one of their visits. Showing bravery beyond his years, Thorin acted instantly, calling his mother, Becky, for help. Becky rushed to the scene and alerted emergency services, but she knows the outcome could have been very different if not for her son’s quick thinking. Today, the family is breathing a sigh of relief, forever grateful that Thorin was there to save his grandpa’s life.
