High School Boys volleyball is currently in an emerging sport status with the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL). This means that schools can offer boys volleyball as a sport, but it is not yet an official MSHSL-sanctioned sport. The 2023-24 season was played in the spring, and the first fully sanctioned season will take place in spring of 2025.
